Kelly Dyer, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker

Kelly provides virtual therapy to adults throughout New York. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, grief, work stress, burnout and challenging life transitions.

Kelly brings a warm, down-to-earth and collaborative style to therapy. She recognizes that starting therapy can feel intimidating or awkward, and clients do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Her approach helps clients make connections, recognize patterns and find ways forward that feel manageable and meaningful.

Kelly earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and completed a specialized certificate in Crisis and Resilience. During her graduate training, her areas of interest included maternal and perinatal mental health, healthcare policy and advocacy, and expanding access to equitable, affirming care. Her experience includes school-based counseling and crisis response within New York City Public Schools, as well as policy and advocacy work at the Center for Reproductive Rights.

Before becoming a therapist, Kelly spent a decade working in marketing, advertising and publishing. She provides therapy under Dr. Kolzet’s clinical supervision and has limited evening and weekend availability to accommodate busy schedules.

Charlotte standefer, psyd

Limited-Permit Clinical Psychologist

Charlotte provides therapy to adults, drawing on experience across a wide range of clinical presentations and treatment settings, from short-term crisis intervention to long-term individual psychotherapy. She has worked in public hospital inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and correctional mental health settings, treating patients navigating acute psychiatric symptoms, including affective and psychotic spectrum disorders, severe personality pathology, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family conflicts, and difficult life transitions, among other concerns.

Charlotte's clinical training is rooted in psychodynamic theory, and her approach is often relational, paying close attention to what's happening in the room as a way of understanding a patient’s life outside of it. She sees herself first as another person in the room, and she believes that genuine, human connection is often what makes therapy work. She brings a down-to-earth, thoughtful presence to sessions, helping patients slow down, notice patterns in their lives and relationships, and make sense of their experience as they figure out what they need going forward.

Charlotte earned her Master's in Psychology and her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Her clinical training includes inpatient psychiatric care, psychiatric emergency services, correctional mental health settings, outpatient community mental health clinics, and neuropsychological and personality assessment.

Charlotte practices under a limited permit under the clinical supervision of Dr. Julie Kolzet. She has evening and weekend availability.
